I notice that while walking at work, I can hear my heel hitting into the ground. I am in a hurry, trying to get from point A to B quickly. I feel as if I am falling into my step. There are instances in which I am not in balance and can easily be uprooted. When I am more mindful of my stepping, the noise of my heel hitting the ground is gone. I feel more balanced. I can feel the transition of weight going from my heels to my toes. I walk much slower, but more mindfully.
